Thank you to the Carleton University fall 2022 research team who conducted a Research Journal to help the progress of The Centre.
The research team collected information from the community to learn more about the project’s impact. The research team presented their findings and final report to The Centre with an analysis on the project and outreach so far.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer at our Official Sign reveal!
Our first guest, Dr. Courtney Szto, author of Changing on the Fly: Hockey Through the Voices of South Asian Canadians joined us for an eye-opening conversation. Her research touches the whole Canadian sport landscape, field hockey is no exception.
In Courtney’s book, she dives headfirst into Canadian ice hockey’s not-so-multi culture. This refreshingly open and honest take may be at first hard for some to hear, but in confronting these truths we can find our way forward.
Stay tuned for our next event.
