National Capital Field Hockey Centre

The National Capital Field Hockey Centre is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the advancement and growth of field hockey serving the National Capital region in Canada.

More information on the full charter of the organization will follow, however the first and most important priority will be building a purpose built Field Hockey facility for the community in the Ottawa region.

As some of you may have already heard, a new project within the City of Ottawa has reached a new phase. Approval of the NCFHC’s application to build such as facility as been granted by City of Ottawa Council.

Project Planning

We are currently at a very early stage in planning and determining the overall scope of this exciting new Field Hockey project. Ultimately our budget and fundraising capabilities will drive much of the project planning and details moving forward. Phase 1, will focus on the first Global level playing field being built and subsequent phases will focus on an additional field, clubhouse and other amenities (subject to funding).

Conceptual Drawings

The project will definitely be a multi-phase project. The first phase will cover a single field. The following conceptual drawings are meant to visualize the overall scope of the vision of this multi-phase project.
